Every Fortune Forged wheel begins with certified aerospace-grade 6061-T6 aluminum billet—selected for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, structural integrity, and superior finishing characteristics. Engineering starts with material selection, and every step that follows depends on getting that foundation right.

DENSE GRAIN STRUCTURE

FORGING.

Step 2:

The heated 6061-T6 billet is forged under thousands of tons of pressure, compressing and aligning the aluminum's grain structure into a dense, directional grain flow. This process dramatically increases strength, fatigue resistance, and structural integrity, creating a forged blank that can be machined for maximum performance without compromising durability.

Step 3:

Multi-axis CNC work sculpts the final design, spoke profile, and mounting geometry to exacting tolerances for fitment, balance, and brake clearance.

After machining, hand finishing stages — filing, deburring, and surface prep — bring every edge and face to a clean, consistent standard before coating.
